What is BWRT®?

BWRT® (BrainWorking Recursive Therapy) is a logical, practical and down-to-earth therapy method. It helps people make real changes without needing to talk about anything they’d rather not.

It can help with:

BWRT® Therapy

Uses a totally logical, practical and down-to-earth working method in which it’s not necessary for you to talk about anything you would rather not discuss.

Anxiety Management

A programme to help rid you of the anxiety holding you back in life.  Feel more confident and change your outlook moving forwards.

Grief Therapy

Grief takes many forms and sometimes we struggle to move forwards and stay stuck in pain.  This will help you to get back to living.

Disarming Anger

Anger and resentment impact not only our mental health but also our physical health.  Are you quick to react and slow to calm?  Let’s resolve this and help you feel settled in yourself .

About Me & My Approach

I’m Kate Wilson, a BWRT® Therapist and Mind Body Coach based in Leicester.

I’ve worked in the Health & Wellness field for over 20 years, starting as a PT and sports masseuse before going on to teach exercise classes. Alongside my interest in movement, I’ve always been fascinated by how the mind works, which led me to complete a BSc(Hons) in Psychology through the Open University and further train in BWRT®, hypnotherapy, NLP, and OldPain2Go®.

I now focus on helping people feel better mentally, physically, and emotionally, using BWRT® to support those dealing with anxiety, anger, phobias, midlife health challenges, sleep issues, and unhelpful old beliefs.

My approach is direct. If that’s not what you’re looking for, I might not be the right therapist for you. I’ll ask questions you may not like, and I’ll push you to get honest, but I’m also supportive and fair.

BWRT® works best when you’re ready to put in the effort. I can’t do it for you, but I’ll be right beside you to help make the changes stick.

How It Works

  • Step 1: Book a free, no-obligation phone call so we can check we’re a good fit

  • Step 2: If it feels right, we’ll book your sessions, online (Zoom) or in-person

  • First session: Up to 2 hours

  • Follow-up sessions: Up to 1 hour

  • Some issues (e.g. phobias) may only need 1 session

  • Others (e.g. anxiety or anger) may need 3–6 sessions depending on your needs
